Modelle der Automarke Porsche:
The new Cayman GT4 is perfect for someone who wants a sporty, puristic car, like our test driver Klaus Niedzwiedz. Key, says Niedzwiedz, is the state-of-the-art mid-mounted engine found in today’s sports cars and Formula One racecars. Klaus admires the GT4’s whopping 385 horsepower and explains that its aerodynamic package provides down thrust, keeping the wheels firmly on the ground. That’s essential on a racetrack, and that’s where he is.
These are the sporting purists from the Porsche family – its GTS models. Test driver Klaus Niedzwiedz says there’s a newcomer to the 911 series, the Targa GTS. You might ask why… Well, some people want a car that differs from the basic model, one that’s sportier, more powerful.
„One Porsche Drive“ is the leading address of the luxury German carmaker in North America. Porsche has spent 100 million dollars to transform an old Ford assembly plant into an automotive palace. It’s Porsche’s largest ever investment outside Germany.
Car tester Klaus Niedzwiedz is trying out the G-T-3 R-S, the latest version of Porsche’s best-selling 911 Carrera line. The car puts out some 500 horsepower. But that’s not all.
The new Panamera has more performance, grooved and vented brakes, ten millimeters less ground clearance, dynamic chassis control, adaptive air suspension and shift paddles on the steering wheel – all standard. Those are the main technical modifications that set the especially sporty Porsche Panamera GTS apart from its tamer siblings.
A Porsche convertible taking its top off is enough to get some car fans‘ pulses racing. And not just because of those appealing contours. The new top-of-the-line convertible has more to offer than its pretty soft top. WE’RE more interested in the SPORTY side of this high-performance speedster. And we came down to the Kyalami Grand Prix racetrack in South Africa to put it through its paces.
GTS stands for Gran Turismo Sport — and it does not disappoint.
The 6-cylinder boxer engine in the GTS is based on the 3-point-4 liter engine from the Cayman S. It’s been tuned up to now generate 250 kiloWatts of power.
Porsche says its new Porsche Macan is a sports car, but our tester Klaus Niedzwiedz thinks it’s an SUV. At least everyone can agree that it looks good. Klaus is going to give the Macan a real grilling, as he takes it on the road near Leipzig.
Porsche premiered its nine-eleven in 1963. Now, fifty years later, Porsche’s brought out the latest 9-11 Turbo. We put the high-performance Turbo S with 412 kilowatts of raw power through its paces on the Bilster Berg Drive Resort test track.
Former race-car driver Klaus Niedzwiedz describes the hybrid-drive Porsche 918 Spyder as the fastest street-legal car anywhere. It can do everything a racing car can. He tries it out on the track in Valencia, Spain, where he can push the Spyder to its absolute limits.
